Junior High Band went to OSSAA and got an Excellent on stage and a superior in sight-reading! They are bringing back hardware for the first time in over 20 years!
They received straight EXCELLENT ratings on stage and brought home our first Superior rating in sight-reading in a very long time!

Our students are officially 100 days smarter and still loading more knowledge every day.
El Reno Public Schools will return to in-person learning tomorrow. Our teachers and staff are excited and ready to welcome students back—even for just one day—because time together in the classroom matters. Road conditions have improved greatly today; however, we know they are not perfect in all areas. We encourage everyone to slow down, remain alert, and exercise caution where conditions are still less than ideal. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing our students back at school.
After much deliberation and driving our routes this afternoon, we have made the decision to close school tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th due to road conditions. While many roads are perfectly drivable, other routes and neighborhoods remain unsafe, and we must make decisions in the best interest of the safety of all students and staff across our district. We understand the frustration that can come with an extended weather-related closure and truly appreciate the patience and understanding of our families during this time.
