It's time for El Reno High School's annual Gifts for the Yanks program. We've been doing this program continuously since 1945. Through the program, we raise money to purchase gifts which EHS students wrap and personally give to the veterans at the OKC VA Hospital. Even though many schools were involved in the program at the end of World War 2 (in 1945), EHS is the ONLY school in the nation that has done it that entire time. Our monthly Beautiful Day parties were on Halloween this year at Roblyer Learning Center. No tricks, but our October birthdays got a special treat as members of the Redlands Community College Men’s Basketball Team and Trio SSS were able to make our students feel special!
